Rose
Rose wines are made by two major methods. One is by taking red grapes and discarding the skins before fermentation takes place. The other is known as Saignee, or bleeding, and is a byproduct of red wine production. Some pink juice is removed at an early stage of red wine production, and fermented seperately. The resulting red wine is rich, and the fermented juice is rose.
